Jill Molyneux (nee Paskins) completed her Diploma in Higher Education in Design Interpretation at Central School of Speech & Drama in 1998 under the tuition of Head of Props – Bill Talbot, founder of Talisman.

She went on to gain invaluable experience over the following years freelancing as a props and fabrication assistant with many special effects companies including; Animated Extras; Jim Henson’s Creature Shop; Rob Allsopp & Associates and Keir Lusby at Shepperton Studios. She also spent a long hot summer supervising and assisting props at Stagedoor Performing Arts Training Centre, in New York.

Whilst working at Jim Henson in 2000 on a multi-million production of ‘Pan’ an opportunity arose for Jill to go to Australia to work on Starwars: Attack of the Clones. Operating principally as a painter she also got involved with dressing various aliens with Creature Effects genius, Jason Baird. Further opportunity presented itself in Australia working on the Sydney Olympic Opening and Closing Ceremonies under the supervision of the super talented Al Martinez and Tamara Ealey.

Upon returning to the UK Jill successfully fulfilled freelance contracts in film, TV, theatre and events and then in 2002 reunited with her mentor Bill Talbot as Props Assistant at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre remaining there for several years.

In 2006 Jill founded Jagprops attracting other talented freelancers including Tim Rose the puppet and animatronics genius, maker and puppeteer from the original Starwars trilogy. Jagprops operates from a splendid workshop in Bristol which is ideally situated for work all over the South of England, London and beyond!
